ธรรมะสวัสดี

Wake up to a dhamma greeting. Every morning ธรรมะสวัสดี sends a card to LINE at the time each person sets: a short line to start the day on, or a Buddhist saying cited all the way to its book and verse number in the Tipitaka, so the words can be traced rather than taken on trust. Followers can make their own cards to share, carrying their LINE name and photo, up to ten a day so the account stays open to everyone. They can check upcoming holy days with the major observances marked, and switch on a reminder the night before. Everything works by tapping or by typing. Free to use, with no ads and no donation requests.

The challenge

Dhamma quotes travel well on social media and badly in every other way. A line gets attributed to the Buddha with no source, loses a word or two on the way, and no reader can check it. Meanwhile the people who genuinely want a quiet moment each morning rarely keep the habit — good intentions lose to a busy start.

Our approach

  • A morning card delivered to LINE at a time each person sets, so the habit fits their day rather than the other way around
  • Buddhist sayings cited to the Tipitaka by book and verse number — "มงคลสูตร · พระไตรปิฎก เล่ม ๒๕ ข้อ ๖" — so a reader can trace the words back to the source instead of taking them on trust
  • Two kinds of card: a short line to start the day on, and a sourced Buddhist saying, each set on quiet artwork that reads at a glance on a phone
  • Personal cards a follower makes and shares, carrying their LINE name and profile photo, with up to ten new cards a day so the account stays open to everyone
  • A holy-day calendar listing upcoming dates with their weekdays, the major observances starred in the same list — the end of Buddhist Lent among them — and an opt-in reminder the night before
  • Buttons for people who tap and typed commands for people who type, with quick replies that change to match where the conversation is

The result

A free LINE Official Account — no ads, no donation requests — where the first minute of the morning arrives with its source attached.
