iBoon

A place online for every temple in Thailand: search the national temple registry by name, by province, or by how close you are, open that temple's own page, and make merit from anywhere. An installable PWA with card and map browsing over one result set, plus a separate back office where each temple keeps its own page, news, and activities current.

The challenge

Most temples in Thailand have no presence online. Someone who wants to visit, follow what a temple is doing, or offer support has to already know which temple, and usually has to be standing in it.

Our approach

  • One searchable directory built on the national temple registry, filtered by province and sorted by name or by distance from where you are standing
  • Card and map views over the same result set, so the search works whether you are looking for a name or a neighbourhood
  • A page of its own for every temple: location, contact, abbot, activities, and online merit
  • A separate back office at cms.thaiiboon.com, so a temple maintains its own page instead of going through us
  • Installable as a PWA, because this starts on a phone and often on a weak connection

The result

A temple that was invisible online becomes something a person can find, follow, and support, without having to be there.
